Walking water

Room 8 had a science experiment on Thursday to write about what we see.

Firstly:Ms Bracey set up the science experiment for us to observe what might happen.It was for Room 8 to predict what will happen.
Ms Bracey put primary colours in plastic cups full of water.She put food colouring, it was yellow, red and blue, 7 cups in a pattern: water, no water, water, no water, water, no water, water.

Secondly:Ms Bracey asked us to predict what will happen when it is finished. Our buddies were to  take a look and come back and give us information about what they saw there.


Thirdly:Ms Bracey told us to observe information. We saw a paper towel strip in one of the primary cups and made a secondary colour in the empty cup. The secondary colours were orange and green. The strip was merging with the primary colours into the empty cup. We came back on Friday and looked what had happened.

An important fact earth’s rotation is on its axis.When the sun is shining on your side of the planet,the other side is dark and sleepy. Dark side is night,bright side is day.

Did you know half if the earth is facing the sun and the other is facing the universe.In fact one side is asleep and one is awake.Soon,even us are going be facing the universe

Rap for milk

We were learning how to make a rap or poem about milk.
We had a really good rap.
The challenge was to make words rhyme that were about milk or Richie Mccaw.

Volleyball

Learn volleyball skills to play the game.

Firstly at volleyball you can learn to serve,ready position and stance. In fact you learn how to work in a team and physical skills.

Secondly you should never hit the ball too high or you will injure people and break something. Furthermore you don’t hit it too high or it will interfere with someone's game.

Finally in volleyball you learn skills to play a game with people.
